What to Bring to your Grad Shoot

Are you about to take your graduation photos? Here's everything you should bring to your shoot!

Graduation Regalia

This includes:

• Cap & gown

• Tassel for your cap

• Stole from your University / organizations

• Any cords you earned

• Any outfits you'd like to wear

Props

Props can elevate any shoot and add fun photos into your gallery! This could include:

• Champagne (bonus if it's decorated!)

• Biodegradable confetti poppers

• Flowers

Detail Items

Bringing extra details can add more poses and depth to your grad shoot! Here's a list of detail ideas you could bring:

• Greek Chapter Pins

• Organization Membership Pins

• Name tags from a Campus Organization or Job

• Awards and Certificates

• Props related to your major/degree (stethoscope, syringe, gavel, flowers, etc)

• Decorated champagne bottles or grad caps

• Anything meaningful or personal to you (photos of loved ones, your childhood stuffed animal, jewelry, etc)

Touch Ups & Back Ups

You'll want to bring a few things incase you need to touch up your look or need to switch a few things out:

• Comfortable shoes incase you need to walk to another location

• Make up & a hairbrush

• Tide to-go pen or wipes

• Baby wipes (great for wiping off champagne)

• A jacket to wear between photos/locations if its cold

A Friend!

Bringing a friend or family member to your shoot is always an amazing idea! Not only can they help you carry items or help you change in or out of your stoles/gown, they're great for moral support! They help you become more relaxed and at eaae in front of the camera! The more the merrier!

At the end of the day, your grad photos should feel like you—personal, joyful, and full of the moments that made your college experience unforgettable.
